We haven't had too much exciting happening these last few weeks so just for this time I decided to let Rafi write something for the blog. These are three short stories he put together. Hopefully with the school holidays and all the parties fast approaching I will have more to blog about soon. Anyway over to Raf:
The Light That Spoke
Once upon a time there was a light that spoke. One morning, a man came into that room and he found the light. It was not big, it was small. It spoke to the man and said, I will grant one wish. The man said, “I wish I can have a dog”. So the wish came true and the light said, “your wish has come true.” And the man never heard the light speak again. The End
The Dragon
Once upon a time there was a dragon who wanted to breathe fire but he could only breathe water. One day he practiced so hard that all his friends got very wet. They got so mad. They all told him to go away. He decided to go find someone to play with him but no one came. He walked and walked for a long time until his friends sprayed water on him. He got such a fright that fire came out his toes and it was so hot. He was very happy his friends came back but they did it again and again all night. At least his toes weren’t on fire anymore. He began to put more and more water on them. Everyone was wet now. They all laughed. The End.
The Man and the Duck
One day in a sausage factory there was a man that was poor. He really loved sausages, that is why he lived in the factory. But one day he decided to leave the factory and try something new. The next place he tried wasn’t a good place because everyone was so bossy. So he decided to open his own factory that made a chocolate so big that it was bigger than the factory. His work men and him ate all the chocolate . All that chocolate gave them tummy aches and they all went to the doctor. The doctor said,” You have a very, very bad stomach ache so no more eating chocolate for you”. So the man had to think of something new to make in his factory. So after seeing some ducks he decided to start making lots and lots of ponds so they could swim free. It made the ducks very happy and they came from all over the world to swim in the ponds. One day, a duck came all the way from England to Australia so he was very tired. They gave it some left over chocolate and a nice warm bath. He said he came to see the beautiful view and animals and when he came, he was right: It was beautiful. So after his holiday, the man gave the duck a big box of lamingtons and Macadamia nuts to remind him of Australia. And the nuts were so loved back in England that the man and the duck started a business together and made lots of money and lived happily ever after. The End
I hope you enjoyed them. Having recently read the complete Brother's Grimm, I can absolutely say that these stories mak a lot more sense than most of those! Until next time... see ya!
P.S. I transcripted the stories from Rafi's note book and corrected the punctuation, but the stories are 100% as written.
